The Lead Shielded Compact Source Storage Safe – 32 mm is designed for the secure containment of radioactive sources, radiopharmaceuticals, and calibration standards in nuclear medicine, research facilities, and isotope production environments.

With internal dimensions of 204 × 204 × 204 mm, it is ideal for storing lead pigs, source containers, or sealed isotopes in a compact yet highly shielded enclosure. The safe features 32 mm thick lead shielding integrated into all walls, the door, and the base, ensuring high-level gamma radiation attenuation from every direction.

A heavy-duty steel outer body provides additional mechanical strength and long service life. A secure locking mechanism restricts access to authorised personnel only, supporting compliance with strict radiation safety protocols.

Both the interior and exterior are coated with a durable epoxy paint, providing a smooth, easy-to-clean surface resistant to scratches, wear, and chemical disinfectants. The finish is available in multiple colours to suit facility requirements or workflow organisation.

In addition to its standalone function, the SC1432 can be supplied as part of a custom source storage setup. These configurations can consist of multiple SC1432 units placed side-by-side and/or stacked, for example in a 4×4 or 1×3 arrangement, to provide high-capacity shielded storage. All multi-unit configurations are custom-built on request to meet specific spatial, workflow, and safety requirements.
