PET line and rod sources are used for calibration, alignment, and resolution testing of PET imaging systems in clinical and research environments. They provide well-defined source geometries for evaluating system performance during routine quality control, set-up, and acceptance testing.
Each PET line and rod source is manufactured and verified to meet defined quality and activity specifications. Products are supplied with appropriate documentation, including activity specifications and leak test certification, to support regulatory and quality assurance requirements.
